Of course nature.
If you think that beauty is the most important factor in love then what you are feeling is not love but infatuation, which lasts only for some days.
Beauty will fade away some day.
But the nature of the person is going to remain unchanged throughout the life.
Choosing a life partner means you are going to splurge your whole life with that person.
So looking at only upper level you cannot assess the depth of water.
Similarly while choosing your life partner you have to assess the depth of the person which is measured only by analyzing his/her NATURE.

Nature is the first preference in choosing a life partner. Beauty is secondary. Beauty attracts you till it is not with you. Once it is with you it looses its attraction for you gradually. After a short time some other person will become more attractive for you. But a good nature will always keep you happy.

Beauty is what makes the first impression...... it gets enhanced when the inner beauty is also there.... both are important but obviously if a rating has to be done, looks and outward personality gets only 10%.... good nature and inner personality takes 20%... I do not know about the rest of 70%.... this unknown factor greatly influences the success of the life partnership.... perhaps it can not be holed up into any fixed formula!!

Beauty, as most things in life, it's a relative thing. Some find beauty in things that others reject. It's a very subjective matter. It's good to choose some one you are attracted to, not just physical but also mentally. A person is beautiful when you love her/him.
So, yes, I think that you should choose beauty in a life partner, the kind of beauty that comes from inside out and matches with your beauty!

In the long run good nature( assume by nature u mean a good heart and attitude).But being human beings one would like to get a life partner having both beauty & brains!

Beauty is only skin deep but nature permeates to the core. For short time fling, beauty may be attractive and necessary, but for long term relationship, for a life partner, nature is more important.

Both Beauty and Nature change along with the Time. One has to embrace the changes, then only his life becomes more meaningful and purposeful. "Beauty is to see, not to Love!". Her/His Nature is to be studied and understood to lead a colourful life.
