America has a long relationship with the Philippines and most of the public has great admiration for the US. There are many languages within the Philippines, and so English (which most speak) has become a general second language, so people from one part of the country can communicate with people from others.
Great country - great people. If you are looking for a place to spend some vacation time, it's worth the trip.

yes and they do speak English...i think English is their second languauge....
