Egg Nog comes from a Nog's crow's eggs.
Long ago, there was Noggin, Prince of Nogs. His evil Uncle, Nogbad, had crows do his dirty work. In the end, Noggin defeats Nogbad, and banishes him.
Nogbad punished his evil crows for not winning the battle for him, by taking an egg for every 2 they laid, for eternity. At first, these were fed to dragons, but when the Pink Clangers came to earth from the Blue Moon, Nogbad smashed them and stole their glowbuzzers, and mixed the glowbuzzer's glowhoney with the raw crow's eggs, and made the tasty drink. Because of this, all the dragons of the world starved to death, and their bones were cremated and spread over the ground (that's how the flower 'dragon's breath' got it's start, by the way).
Now, it's been eons since that happened, and much of the history is lost, but to this day, people still use crow's eggs and glowhoney to make Egg Nog!

Clingfilm is made from the squashed and tightly rolled corpses of the Clangers. Sadly, they left the moon where they had spent aeons hooting and whistling in the great void, and invented a spaceship that brought them to earth. They left the ship and, crossing a busy motorway ("take me to your leader") they got squashed flat by a juggernaut. Someone found them squashed so flat that they were almost transparent and started a factory, processing them to make clingfilm. However, their spirits still live on in clingfilm which is why, when you pull it tight, you can occasionally hear a "squeak" from one of the almost-dead Clangers.
TRUE!!!!
