my dear friend ,
deviation is more for that color which has more refractive index of glass with respect to air ..and voilet color refractive index is more than red ..so voilet deviates more ...refractive index=sin(i)/sin( r)..where i and r are incident and refraction angle
refraction angle is less for voilet than red ...although incident angle r same for both in air....

Violet deviates more than red when it falls into glass from air because violet has shorter wavelength and slow velocity as compared to red colour.

Depends mainly,on refractive indexes of air and glass and wave length, but indexes may play a huge roll, that is why one of the answer point out that in water or glass, with same index thicker the glass or deeper the water the defection will be more with thickness or depth.

red

tho in glass the difference is negligible. now in water, it's definately easier to see. just look at the rainbow.
