Deals with facts, figures etc. related to the economy. There are various fields....e .g. Stocks and Shares. Market economy. Insurance. Gilts. Yields. The field is endless.
There are many job opportunities. First select your field. Something you feel comfortable with - something which really interests you. Many Colleges offer courses at reasonable fees. Even Evening Classes are available. Home tuition courses is another option.

What age are you ? If starting out - follow the above - take up a course.......then apply to Brokers, City Dealers etc. They will be more receptive to someone who has made a tentative step to a career in Economics.

1. You can become a Governor of Reserve Bank of India and move on to become the Prime Minister of India.
2. You can become a Professor in IIT and find a place in politics. Form a political party and offer unsolicited advice/opinion much to the chagrin of the career politicians.
