I assume you mean the Bedford Hotel near (or perhaps its on?) Russell Square. It is perhaps 2.5 miles to the Tower from there. To get there take any bus going south down Southampton Row (not the number 7 which starts at Russell Sq). get off when the bus goes left at ALDWYCH and catch a number 15 (you may have to walk a short way round the corner to find the stop ) This will drop you outside the Tower. Most of the buses on the 15 are just ordinary ones, BUT! one every 15 minutes from 0930 in the morning is one of the famous Routemasters (there are only 10 of these left, so it's worth waiting for one). Buy a one day bus pass from the ticket machine before you board the bus (assuming you haven't already bought some sort of pass).

Which Bedford Hotel??? Russell Square, Southampton Row.... there are lots - London is a big city!!!
