sachin and sourav should open the innings in odi's but in tests i think dinesh karthick and gambhir should open the innings.Now the serious problem is about the world cup,if india want to win the world cup sachin and sourav should open the innings for india as they both have vast experience in opening and the gave india some great starts,and involved in more than 15 century partnerships,if they will give india once again the same starts india is a strong contender of the world cup 2007 which is going to be held in west indies.

in India dhoni should be opening because he can give the fast n furious start to the team. sehwag is dried batsman he is not working properly. if possible new young players should be given chance there are so many good players than sehwag and others.

I think it shud be Sachin and Sehwag bang on again...they have stopped them goin for openign since his tennis elbow injury...sending pathan with sachin or dravid is also gud..kick sehwag out

For ODIs it should be the old and successful pair of Sourav and Sachin. As for the tests it should b Gambhir and Dhoni.
