Don't get me wrong, I do like it a bit. confidence in small doses is fine, and confidence when in a friendship/relationship that is mutual and both people feel completely comfortable is fine.

All I see on here is people saying that confidence is the biggest turn on, or the most attractive personality trait. I really do not think so. It has put me off people in the past. Confidence can be a persons cover, their way of masking over things. It can also be a comparable thing. 'look how good I am compared to ...'. It can also be just plain ego boosting bull ****.

I personally like peoples weaknesses as well as their strengths. But if they cannot see them thereselves or do not have any, I get bored.

Hey some one else thinks like me. I think I am fairly confident but tend to keep it inwards. I don't like to see it in others so don't really want them to see it in me. I think I would label mine as inner strength.

The confident people I know tend to be competitive too - and that is something else I don't like.

I actually find people whose major quality is their confidence to be really irritating. To be confident about everything suggests to me that the person either thinks they are something great, indestructible, infallible, etc, or they have just never lived in the real world where bad things happen, you make mistakes etc.

I agree, sometimes a guys confidence is somewhat overbearing. At times it seems like ' their a wanna be a pompous a------ ' but don't fit the shoes. ( Sorry guys - just a little ticked off at y'all tonite)

i agree with Geri, piepiepie and nanny. so i think you need to know what you're talking about cos it appears you're confusing confidence and cockiness and they are totally different things like Geri said.

I think you are confusing confidence and arrogance. Confidence is admirable.

I like people who can see the difference between moderation and extremes and know the definitions of the words that they use.
