Does any body know the importance of the pop artist Roy Lichtenstein on the fashion trend in 1960's and 19070's? is it his work influvanced the contemparary fashion or did his work intepriting the popular culture?please help me with this.

Best I remember from Art History classes, his artwork (large scale "comic strip-like paintings") were his original statement to the world regarding pop culture versus "art". I believe the fashion trends were inspired by him, not the other way around, if I understand your question correctly.
