i mean ships with masts and sails, not helicopter pads and missile launchers. With a bilge deck and forecastle and the like. Or do tall ships not exist anymore?

there are about 100 tall ships working the world ...look up US Sail Training Association........and probably 10,000 sailing yachts.....see Cruisng World or Sail magazines.......or just go to any New England port in the summer, or Ft LAuderdale or any Caribbean island in the winter.....lots of jobs available as deckhand on yachts.......

people set up sailing contests/events maybe you can try working for them and meet some heavy sailors.
or find a rich dude to hire you to take care of his sail boat.
