Ask them what comes with the specific model of Bose lifestyle you've bought (is it a lifestyle 18, 28, 38 or 48 system?)

In my opinion you'll get everything you need to get the component you have delivered connected but nothing more. You can control many other devices via the Bose lifestyle system so you'll have to ask, per device that you want to add to the system, exactly what you need to get connected.
