The title of the movie would be great, but what I am actually looking for is the poem or short story that was told in the movie. The funny thing is when I watched it years ago I immediately searched the internet for the story. Nowhere to be found. At the time I had a VCR so I literally had to pause and rewind to write the thing down. I had saved it for years simply because I liked the story. I have now lost it, and cannot find it or remember the name of the movie that it was in. I don't remember much about the story at all.

I do know that it was two guys talking in the movie and one guy said to the other, Have you ever heard of the story of tibbets? The guy says no, and the man proceeds in telling him the story. It was a real quick story that said something about a place called "Tibbets" I do remember that in the story this place had no rules. In the middle of the town stood a great big wall. The houses were big and the people were small. He then goes on to say..............but in this town of tibbets "something happened", and then they had but one rule. All men should follow it......It goes on and on and I dont remember anymore .

I know that it's not much to go on, and I would love to give you more, but I just don't remember it. Hopefully the word "Tibbets" will be enough to jog your memory. I'm not even sure if thats the correct spelling. Please help if you know. I am going crazy trying to find that darn story.

No, How I wish I did. I'm trying so hard to remember even one character in the movie. I understand that is very tough. I figured it must be some poem. When I wrote it down it took up and entire page, but in the movie he said the whole thing fairly quick. If I figure out more I'll let you know.

This poem was recited by Michael T. Weiss in 'Net Worth':

"Four friends head to Utah after making a bet to see who can make the most money there in 30 days. "

you had the spelling a little wrong... "The Land of Tibbetts"

This is going to be pretty tough to research. Tibbets is the spelling for the pilot of the Enola Gay, so when I searched on it in imdb.com, that's what came up. I tried spelling it "tibbits" but that didn't come up with anything.

So we need more info. Do you remember what any of the actors looked like? Do you remember what the setting of the movie was, or anything at all about the plot?

All I found was info on Paul Tibbets, the famed pilot of the Enola Gay.

Id love to help, but without any real information, its going to be hard.

That would be Stephen King's The Langoliers. It was originally a story in his book Four Past Midnight, but the movie you're talking about was a mini-series, done for TV. I know it's on DVD, you should be able to find it without too much problem.
