I received a mail:

my name is Krista and I have a new born baby named Natalie. She means the world to me, and just recently the doctors discovered that she had Brain Cancer.
Unfortunately my husband and I don't have enough money to even pay the bills. My Husband and I worked out a deal with YAHOO and AOL and ORKUT and they have agreed to give us 5 cents for each person that receives this IM, so please forward this to everyone you know and help out. PLz

It's listed on this site of chain letters, called 'BreakTheChain' The website seems to have posted the 'baby natalie' story in 2003.

Here's the link to the 'baby natalie' chain:

It's a scam. I get the same e-mail from rich woman in Africa whose husband just died and she's now looking for someone to take her fortune from her. Doesn't make ANY sense at all, does it? lol

I recieve such emails all the time...and there's this other one that states that Bill Gates is giving out his fortune to people, and all you have to do is forward the email to as many people as you can, and for everytime you do this, you get XX amount of $$

Just ignore such type of emails...NO ONE GIVES OUT FREE MONEY TO PEOPLE!!

you can never really know for sure..

BUT if it is really someone who needs help, this isn't the best way to ask for it.. there are societies and organizations for charity work..

If you really want to help people, you can help these societies help them... what they really need is to GO to more places, to the poorest places where people are suffering but can't find anyone to ask for help.. and by the way, these people won't use the Internet to ask for it
