Yes, I've made unhappy people laugh before,,, infact I love making people laugh
It felt like you just gave this person a good start...some kind of hope to forget whatever made them unhappy, and I love this feeling

Yes I have, and it feels good, even to them. I was always the clown of the family, and when anyone was down, they looked to me to cheer them up. My children are that way now too. I broke my leg a few years ago, and I am in my mid 50's. My son had me laughing so hard in the room waiting for the Dr. that they didn't believe me that it was broke. They however did take x-rays, and sent me home, telling me they would call me as soon as they found anything. I had just gotten home in a lot of pain, when they called to tell me to get my behind back there before they closed. I broke the other leg the following year and didn't take that son with me, but, they didn't send me home this time either, they made sure it was broke.

that occurs me quiet alot. for instance a number of Rammsteins songs have English sounding words in them and it sounds so humorous at the same time as the come out between the German words. contained in the song Ich Will on the end of different strains he says "trout". Mutter sounds somewhat humorous too yet I do love the band all the same. As for the undesirable stuff, James Blunt is so undesirable he makes me snigger.

I try to on a daily basis. It makes me feel better, it makes other feel better.
I'm a bit of a comedian and I enjoy making others laugh - beats making them cry or making them mad to the point where they kick you in the junk.

as soon as one of my friends is upset i say anything to make them laugh. i don't feel anything though & sometimes it's worse because they laugh for a few moments but really they're still upset, it just seems so futile.

so many times....everyone faces unhappy situations...to make them laugh when tears are flowing....its a grt experience
