in class... i did something.... i wouldn't like to tell it though.... if i accept it... im going to get guilty and embarrassed in front of everyone... and also get a sound thrashing from my parents, principal and my teachers. and i might get detention or a period of suspension also... that is under my principals control....so... what should i do?? when the matter is discussed in class... i shiver.....

If this problem really bothers you, i think you have to tell it first to the people you can really trust, or i guess the "open minded people" in which they are willing to accept any statements, able to help or give advice to those individuals, who are disturbed because of these hindrances/ obstacles. I think you'd better tell it to your parents, they are your true friends who won't let you down. it is normal that they might scold you, or be angry at you... you should be able to face the consequences that you have done, if you don't do anything about it, nothing good will happen. It's better to face a situation than to do nothing at all. Great things usually happen if you learn how to end up those mistakes.

Nothing that you have donne could justify your parents, principal and teachers giving you a "sound thrashing".

Normally honesty is the best policy, but if this is really the likely ouotcome, you should stay silent or tell some independent adult who will not resort to violence

A thrashing never hurts as much or as long as a guilty conscience does. How bad can it be? Take your pride and swallow it and admit when you are wrong. Otherwise this will haunt you for ever.

I agree with Steve about the thrashing.
If no one else is going to get blamed for this, I'd keep quiet. It's another matter altogether though if someone else becomes rhe scapegoat.

hard to say when you wont tell us what it is. if it will come back to bite you in the ***, maybe it's better that the truth come out.
