Well, it used to be that females lived longer and survived better up until we created civilisation. Nature intended women to survive better and to last longer even when there's a famine (hence the problem with those saddlebags around the hips, which women hate - they are there for a reason!). But now, civilisation and modern society turned everything upside down. Civilisation created a good survival for men, in fact men for many centuries suppressed women completely (although men were providers). It is true that, still, women outlived men. Now, I think this will even out because the increasing opportunities for women (which do bring a lot of stress etc.). Also, women are put under tremendous pressure these days as women have to conform to these fashionable ideals that they have to be not only gorgeous, but they have to have a great career, fantastic kids, a beautiful house, the best dressed family etc. It is getting too much, so I don't think women will outlive men in the future and I do think that it is still much easier to survive if you are a man.

It is easier to survive as a woman. Men have a shorter life expectancy and women are much less likely to be homeless. Males also have a higher suicide rate. Women's health gets more funding than mens health. Men are also expected to protect women, not the other way round (why else would news reports allways mention 'women and children' rather than 'men and children'). I could go on forever. Being a man has some perks, but in terms of survival, women win hands down.

It must be easier for women, because they outlive men on the average. But when I think of a man's life and a woman's wife, it seems that men should live longer. They have it easier. Do they have to give birth? That's probably one of the most painful experiences known to man. Women do it sometimes several times in a lifetime. Maybe that's why they out last and out survive.

Women are more lucky to survive. The nature takescare of a woman because she's the potential breeder. It's easier for a woman to marry a rich man or to charm the one you need. And society takes care of women too. Not so many women join the army. They don't go to dangerous expeditions and they can be a wife of an enemy when the man will be probably killed by the enemy.

this has to be a general answer because some outstanding individuals of each gender do not confirm to the average.

The answer is that it is easier for a man.

Women are generally physically weaker than men and there can be no doubt that situations arise where this will put them at a disadvantage.
The rigours of childbirth and childcare are obvious problems - the physical demands and the interuption to career paths etc.

but by far the biggest problem is the value that society places upon beauty. Every billboard, magazine, tv show, newspaper, film
glorifies youth and beauty. At a certain age some women can feel themselves becoming "invisible" to the opposite sex. They are constantly being measured against the media proposition of success. No wonder there are so many problems with anorexia and its associates.

As a man, my life is simple.

a million. Why women human beings outlive men..... until around the 365 days 2020, older women all and sundry is and could be predominantly housewives. we will not understand until then whether being a profession guy or woman vs. being a housewife is extra demanding. Contributing factors to the death age disparity that we already understand comprise that men are extra in all probability to be human beings who smoke, do volatile issues like using motorcycles, combat in wars, and are much less in all probability to get generic wellbeing practitioner checkups. ** i take advantage of the 365 days 2020 based on the undeniable fact that it wasn't until the Seventies that there have been extra women human beings working than not working. And, properly, the extra youthful women human beings have been born someplace around 1950, meaning they are going to be of retirement age around the 365 days 2020. 2. Which team could die off first on an island.... Assuming that the two communities have individuals of comparable mind, artwork ethic, and actual wellbeing, i think of that whichever team socially interacts the main suitable will stay to tell the tale longest. working at the same time as a team is extra significant than brute actual power in a survival concern. Stereotypes of the genders could point out that the ladies human beings could artwork better as a team with the aid of a consensus variety of management (as unfavorable to the dictator variety of management of the boys, which will motivate divisiveness and mutiny ala Lord of the Flies).

This is a tough one, there is lots of areas to think about but I have to shout for the man's corner. If you look at our biologies there is a big difference in hormone levels throughout the two sexes and these change throughout our lives and its widely regarded that testosterone is the cause for man's early departure from this earth. Its properties make men more prone to heart and circulitory conditions. But it also makes men more competitive in general and bigger risk takers which translates into men fluctuating from success and a high or failure and a low. So this leads onto my main point for why it is easier for a woman to survive in life. Basically because of this intolerance a man has towards failure and how this can easily cause a spiral of depression this leads to a higher suicide rate in men than woman in all ages. Certainly in Ireland where I'm from it is one of the biggest unnatural cause of death in males.

from the samaritans website

The male suicide rate is higher than the rate for females in all UK countries and in the Republic of Ireland, reflecting world-wide statistics. These show that in general, men are between two and three times as likely to take their own lives as women. The gap continues to narrow with the ratio of male to female reducing or remaining the same in all countries. Overall the ratio remained at 3:1.

Also from a national study of suicide in Ireland.

In 1998, suicide ranked as the fourth highest
cause of years of potential life lost for males in Ireland, superseded only by deaths from
circulatory diseases, cancers and respiratory diseases.

What is a man, what is a woman? And which life are you referring to? the miserable little chicken existence we are conditionned to consider as the crown of an intelligent Universe?!
Nonetheless I would venture saying that neither gender has its life made easier just on account of its very nature. Man, woman or child we are all bound to suffer thanks to the good theocracies and their heirs that still trample upon this world.

I can't say is it easier for man or woman to survive in life. life is hard for everyone. it depends how we live, on our individuality. someone who was born in poor family could survive living poorly. and someone born in wealthy family couldn't survive living in poorness. oh! i have written too much and don't understand myself what i'm talking. so everything depends on ourselfs. if we are weak or strong. if you want to know exactly. i will say one thing. men more often commit suiside then women. i think that is the answer. they can't survive.
