I far as I know she doesn't have one...she comes from a small island if that has any effect on people lives....like last names and all....yeah

No she does not. A lot of the characters do not need a surname and so the stroy writers just don't include one.
None of the other characters of FFX have surnames really. A first name is all that they really need apparently. It's the same as in Dragonball. A lot of the main characters go without surnames for some reason.
