my personal advice is mba, however you need to decide for yourself. ca involves a lot of accountancy and related subjects and involves a period of articleship after one level. an mba on the other hand will give you a more broadbased curriculum and you can choose to specialize in finance, if thats your interest.
for mba, the process involves written tests, group discussion and interviews, varying with every institution. from job prospects, both are good though an mba from a reputed place is better. good luck and hope this helps

It is very good that you are good at something. But your career choice has to be made after considering a few more matters like what you know about the careers you are considering, how well you fit into the demands of those careers etc. A career in Management via MBA calls for a management style personality whereas a career in Chareterd Accountancy can be pursued even if you are not of a managerial type, though if you have that trait, it would make you a better CA. Read any good Career Guide and understand these careers properly before you rush to a choice.

Hi... You could pursue CWA(Cost Work Accounting) also.. It's Really a nice course... I'm Doing the same... That course deals with managing the production cost and things related to it.. It has three stages viz 1)foundation,2)Inter(2 stages), 3)Final(3 stages). The syllabus has been changed this year... For more information log on to www.myicwai.com..
CA(Chartered Accountancy)... It deals with financial accounting.. For joining that you have to appear for an exam conducted by that i.e CPT(Common Proficiency Test).. And after finishing that you have to appear for inter and then final... You should have to work under an auditor after finishing CPT..For more information log on to www.myicai.com..

MBA.. It has become very common now to have an
MBA degree.. But what really matters is the institution in which you study.. Doing Mba in cores is an utter waste... IIm,LIBA,XLRI, are some of the renowned institutions...

An advice from me.... else if you are interested in quantitative papers then pals go with CA or CWA or MBA...! All are good courses.. but CA and CWA has a wider scope than the other.. It'd be better If you do, both CA and Mba with finance... It has the more valuable in the job market..
OK,... Good luck.. Bye bye.. All the best for your future...!

If you are condfident in accountancy, then go for CA, but it requires hardwork and long hours of study. Approximate waiting time is aroud 4 - 5 years.

As far as MBA is concerned, it is a two year full time course. The course is very practical and management oriented and requires you to do a lot of projects. The study is not challenging. You are sure to complete the course in 2 years flat.

Both the courses offer good placement people generally go for MBA as it is less difficult ans pay package is more or less same. But CA commands greater respect than MBA.

Entry to CA is easy but passing is very difficult (depending on your intellectual capacity)

Entry to MBA in top colleges is quite difficult and passing is easier.

Go for CA only if you are ready to take pain or else go for MBA from a reputed B-School such as IIMs,XLRI, IFS, IBS, ICFAI, Welingkars, NMIMS, JBIMS etc.

for details about CA go to ICAI.org
and for MBA go to dte.org.in
