I have been an investigations manager for 5 years where I am responsible for producing presue & asset reports for solicitors/lawyers & finance houses & also investigate fraud reports. I want a new career has anyone got any advice about what career I should consider. I dont have many qualifications apart from GCSEs & sveral NVQ's but I have several years of experience. Thanks!

What do you want from your new career? What is it that's not satifiying you about the old one? Is it the pay, promotion prospects, are you fed up with the work? are you fed up with being a slave to the clock? Think about what you want have achieved in the next 5 years or so. How best to achieve that. You don't say if you are married or have family commitments. That could limit your options a bit if you can't easily move or you need to keep earning a decent wage. Assuming you can do anything you want, find something you love doing, and do that. If you need qualifications then look at what options there are to gain them.

One thing you could consider is training to teach English as a foreign language. The qualification is easy enough to get and it will take you anywhere in the world.

Don't be afraid to try something completely different.

Good luck

Auditing is a growing field in the US, and you might find your way quickly into partnership in one of the larger firms.
