There are many many on-line games, a lot can be found through various websites..such as yahoo, these are your basic quick fix games..when you just have to have that gaming fix, no story, just fun. There are also more massive games. I refer to the 800 pound gorilla of of on-line games World of Warcraft..with over 7 million people on-line it is one of the largest on-line games. There is a monthly subscription required. There is a magazine that is all about on-line games it is called "massive" magazine. It has a list of current games out, and those in beta, and in development.It also gives a brief description of each title.

I recommend Stick Arena on www.xgenstudios.com as a great, quick, highly addicting free MMOG.
On that note, I also have to recommend AdventureQuest. It's on adds at Xgen all the time. $15 straight for unlimited membership.
There are a ton of good flash games at www.thegn.com. Get to the good stuff by scrolling down.
If you're into those long, never ending, make Friends games, I recommend Runescape. I got hacked. :( THREE TIMES...

My favorite online game is Slingo. Go to Slingo.com and click "Slingo Millenium" - it's fun and addicting (it's a little like Bingo).
