One way is to copy and paste and save the text onto the excel spreadsheet and send as one. See excel help for "embedded objects" and then "creating and inserting".
If the text goes too far across the spreadsheet for easy viewing, paste the text into Wordpad, format the text to make the lines shorter, then copy and paste the shortened lines on to the spreadsheet. It is also possible to paste the text file as a wordpad object (I think that is what it is called).

Zip 'em together, as Dennis G says. If, however, you can't zip, select the data in the spreadsheet, copy, go to your word document and go to paste, selecting the paste option to paste as a Word table.

you can zip them together and attach the win zip file as one attachment
