My boyfriend had a warrant for vop, the police arrived and handcuffed us both downstairs. They asked my boyfriend for consent to search, but never asked me anything. After the police left, I discovered that they had searched my purse which was missing my drivers liscense and $160. I later found that they left my liscense in the kitchen but never mentioned they removed it from my wallet upstairs, the money was never found. I also had belongings of my boyfriend in my purse that was not in my purse before the police arrived.

If it's his house and he consented I would think that includes everything in the house at the time of the incident. Report your money being stolen to internal affairs but i don't give much hope on it. Your word against theirs.

If it was in the room, they could search it. They probably pulled your license to run priors on you (to find out if you had a record). However, I don't know about the money. It doesn't sound right that they would have taken it, but you never know.
