Is there any way to limit the damage done to a book I borrowed from a friend? There was a coffee spill in the house and some seeped into the edges of pages. The book is hardback and the paper is that thick kind, like old library books.

If the book is in print them buy a new one, if not look on amazon & Ebay etc, but I would be honest and tell them, dont mess with Karma :)

I may just be able to save your bacon, but be carefull, try this on one of the pages first, get a clean white cloth and some white vinegar, dab the cloth in the vinegar and then gently wipe the pages were it is stained, should work, good luck.
