Actually, a chord is *three* or more notes played together. Two notes played together is called an harmonic interval.

Trial? No clue.

Do you mean trill?

A trill is when you alternate rapidly between the same two notes, usually for the space of a few beats. It's common in flute music, and among other woodwinds.
