I recently bought a marvelous mosaic piece, however, i want to grout it. Please, which color do u recommend? how can I know whether t use light or dark colored grout? I don't want to spoil this. please help! thx!! btw, i bought it online from www.phoenicianarts.com... amazing work~

i am a fan of mosaic,especially from antiquity.
i know what i would do.dark with dark colours,light with light colours.
simple.

Having looked at their stuff I would not recommend a dark grout even on a light work, also since they use real marble, they recommend that you apply a sealant as well so as not to stain the stone. As most of the designs are pretty much classic I would expect that the grout should be too.

All that leads to a light, preferably off white shade that would allow the work to stand out, rather than the grout. Good luck with it.
