Gee Whiz, if they were REALLY smart, they might just think about using it to get themselves a real GENERAL MANAGER...........

Although Calvin johnson is probably the best athlete in the draft ,I believe the Lions should address other problems such as quarterback for the future, some help along the offensive line and at linebacker before I would even consider picking a wide receiver. However, I believe there has to be a change somewhere in upper management before the Lions become competitive.

I sure hope not..
I think the best bet would be to trade down, trying to get 2 first round picks (ie - the trade that allowed them to get Roy Williams and Kevin Johnson in the same year), or at least an extra second rounder. Then they should use at least 3 or 4 picks on offensive linemen.
A guy above me said they needed D-line too, well, I agree to a point, but with the return of Shaun Rogers and the emergence of Cory Redding, I think they might just be ok in that department. There have also been rumors of them eyeballing Simeon Rice, who will be a free agent this off-season (the Marinelli connection) and they're paying Kalimba Edwards too much money not to give him another look.
Trade down, take O-line! I know the picks would be "boring" and the results of an offensive lineman are hard to see as a passive football fan, but we need a line, BAD. Look at what Garcia was able to do after leaving Detroit's crappy line and moving to the Eagles, whose line isn't even all that highly touted. The difference is night and day.

We actually need a slot reciever someone with speed who is available. Kevin Curtis is a name we may grab. This is because Mike Furey thinks hes a #2. (hes dumb) Our need is on the O or D line and in the secondary.

BUT as we all know this means nothing because our team is run by a GM so horrible that I refuse to even mention his name unless it follows the word FIRE.

Maybe they'll draft Troy Smith and convert him to a WR. Wouldn't that be a Millen for ya.

I would say no, but it's the Lions so anything could happen.
