lol, yes i would, im married to one.
I think that society labels us both butch because we both have short hair and dress in boys clothes. In all actuality, Im very feminine in many ways and so is she. Labels are bad for many reasons, this being a big one. I dont prefer lipstick lesbians because for one, they would take up to much of my bathroom time, for 2, i would feel like im dating a straight women. But thats just me. I like the butchyness of my wife.

Ever noticed that alot of times you see lipstick lesbian couples? Its no different, what u see on the outside may very well be totally different on the in.

Well, I'm a fairly low-maintenance femme (or, let's put it this way: no one would ever mistake me for butch), but if I were butch, I would absolutely go out with another butch. I find nothing hotter than two masculine energies together, and I wish there were more resources out there for butch women who like other butch women. There are a few (strapdivision.com and butch-butch.com are good ones), and even butch-femme.com is very open and accepting of butches who are into butches, at least that I've seen.

I think it's quite hard for butches who like butches. Out of all lesbian couplings (femme/femme, butch/femme), they seem to get it the worst from both outside society and even from the community itself. People already have such a hard time wondering why a femme would be attracted to a butch, and what that means about her sexuality; two butches just might make their heads explode. And there also seems to be a lot of 'homophobia', if you will, within the butches-attracted-to-femmes community. In some ways, you can almost compare them to straight men in that they don't want to get to close to another butch, in 'that way', that it might be feminizing to them, or mean they weren't real butches. I mean, just look at Jess's reaction in "Stone Butch Blues" when she discovers her butch friend likes butches- she is honestly disgusted and perplexed, much as a straight man might be taken aback by the idea of gay men. So I think that's prevalent, too, in considerations of butch-butch relationships.

It's kind of funny; I often hear about or see soft butch couples, but if there's ever two 'hard' butches together, I always seem to note some sort of roleplay element to their relationship (the most popular, it seems, being daddy/boi). I find it intriguing, because I can't really explain it.

Anyhow, I've probably rambled far too much, but that's my stance on things. Long live butch-butch (and all other) lesbians!

I go for individual characteristics instead of a look. I have dated many butch as well as lipstick lesbians.

I'm not a butch lesbian nor a lipstick ...... I think this is all stereo-typical myself but it just really depends on the persons personality for me.

Let's the say that people view me as butch 80% of the time, and tell me that I'm a waste of femininity 20% of the time (when I look like the classical definition of femininity)... I go out with all sorts of people, butch or femme, straight males and even straight women... It seems like straight women are bi-curious by nature... They don't last long if you want a relationship though.

I am who I am, and I don't even view myself as butch...

the only element that i could desire to think of is that a number of lesbians desire the softness of yet another female and perchance for them a butch lesbian is purely too complicated. i do no longer understand why unquestionably. i think of its stupid too. perchance in the event that they weren't so rapid to decide they could discover out that it may desire to be purely as astounding as a "nonbutch" lesbian relationship. For me, i like a guy or woman for who they're. love does no longer understand sexual orientation. My husband and that i are the two bisexual yet have chosen to be mutually as a results of fact we like the guy and are not specific approximately sexual possibilities. Your sexual selection shouldn't bring about hate of human beings as a results of fact of theirs. anybody has the spectacular to love whoever they chosen. purely as a results of fact some lesbians are butch and others do no longer desire that doesn't propose that they could desire to hate on butch lesbians. If I chosen to be with a female i do no longer think of it may matter to me.
