Perhaps you have a hernia. With the stress it may have extra pressure at these times and be more noticeable. IT is best to see a Dr. to make sure. A hydroseal is not nice either. If you get a hernia in this area of your body, your abdominal fluid can leak into your scrotum, and cause pain, and enlargement. Best to get it checkout out anyways. Even to put your mind at ease.

You could be right, it may just be stress, but you need to get it checked out medically. Its dangerous to self diagnose!
Please see a doctor soon and take up meditation to de stress;

Yes, I get that. I went to the GP cos' I found a little lump too. It turned out it was a calcified cyst. Nothing to worry about, for me. You should check them out for lumps, now and again.
I wouldn't add to my stress by worrying unduly but if it's out of hand see your GP. It is bl**dy sore. Sympathy from me.

It would be worth getting it checked out by a doctor. It will most likely be nothing serious. But best be sure.

could be bad circulation due to sitting down for long hours studying, hence compressing the groin area for a while?
prostatitis? urinary tract infections? referred pain from lower back from back sitting posture?

although embarassing to go to Dr, it's an option if symptoms persist.
