my daughters ipod is completely dead she went to florida for 2 weeks?

i have tried to charge it but there is no sign of life help me

Maybe your iPod was left open like mine before. Like you, I tried charging it but the iPod is completely dead. I tried resetting the iPod but i was still unsuccessful. After 2 days I tried charging it again and this time it started charging and playing music again.

Well you can try to hold down the Play and menu button at the same time for about 10 sec or so. This is will reset the Ipod that does not work take it to Apple store they have standard 1year warranty.
