How come hybrids dont breed true?

In science class my biology teacher made us put red eyed no wing male flys in a chamber with white eye winged female flys. He made them mate to have babies who made them mate to create hybrids or whatever. But how does that prove that hybrids dont breed true?

because u have a ? of balance. there is still a very small imperfections that will come through unless u alter the genetics exactly the way u want instead of leave-ing it to chance.
