It's a little like the OJ trial you know. It depends on your point of view. To be justice, Saddam would have had to have a fair trial. Now that trial WAS done in a legal manner, but you have to wonder how fair it was with all the defense attorneys being knocked off one by one.
I am convinced Saddam pretty much did what he was accused of. As I was with OJ. The difference was OJ did indeed get a fair trial. I wasn't happy with the outcome, but he was allowed to mount a defence.
Saddam, well I just don't see it. So but me down as "none of the above". I don't think it was coldblooded murder, but I sure don't think it was justice either.

I believe that Saddam Hussein's death is Justice, and I also believe that one day Saddam Hussein will see Jesus and Saddam Hussein will die for the second time never more to arise.

Justice. Although I'd have preferred a life sentence.

Hypocrisy! The Americans instigated the overthrow of the Shah and placed Hussein in power (as a puppet) in the first place. How did they know he had weapons of mass destruction? Because they gave them to him! When he wouldn't play ball they had to get rid of him. Pinochet did the same thing and HE wasn't hanged/punished. I mean the whole bloody thing is farcical. There's that old saying (which can equally be said of Bush and his backers) "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". History will tell us the true story but in the mean time lots of innocent people are STILL being killed. The American military are doing in Abu Ghraib exactly the same things that Hussein did. Don't you wonder why there is so much anti-American feeling over there? THINK ABOUT IT.

I think he got what he deserved. He took young boys away from their families and turned them into killing machines. He had some of his own children killed because they did not agree with him. He was pure evil.
