Ok i thought "Something about Mary" was funny is that a chick flick I don't know really.
The general plotline for chick flicks is girl looking for love but doesnt notice it right under her nose (oh the irony of it all its so profound) then after a series of obstacles and heart break she gets her guy and they live happily ever after.
JUst thought of another very cool chick flick well kinda chick flick:
True Romance and Wild at Heart
Dire and predictable yes so humour is the only saving grace.

Ohhh, there's lots. Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes are a couple off the top of my head...personal favorites.
