In my 12 years experience in the I.T. industry It could either be F2 key or Delete key, to a novice the easiest way to get into your bios (WARNING CHANGING STUFF IN THERE DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!) is to turn your machine on wait till after the Post Testing Beeps or press and hold the DELETE key NOT BACKSPACE key, and it should go straight in there! if it doesnt, press the reset switch on your PC tower case on the front, again wait for the Post Test Beeps and press F2....hope this helps!...

When the computer very first starts, hit every key on the keyboard, concentrating on the Function keys, Delete key, and control alt & escape keys. Hopefully this will force an error and it will want to go into the BIOS for you. Your motherboard may well not respond to delete. Some Compaqs are F10 for example. Some Acers Control Alt Esc. Some HP are F2, some Toshibas Esc, etc etc etc.

bios differ from computer models. see your computer's website. try pressing F8 on bootup, should give you a list of options on how to boot.
