while I firmly believe we can neither own nor sell the earth, our true mother, no more than we can own the air, or the birds in the sky, and that honoring the earth and all its life, is essential, I still say give us back our land by treaty! The real illeagas are those who came uninvited from 1492 onwards, to our lands.

The F*Ing mexicans never had any land stolen from them. I am so tired of hearing all that BS. Even if you believe the land in the southwest really belongs to mexico (which it does not, via concession by mexico as a result of LOSING a war they started, and also by direct purchase in the Gadsden deal), how many of the wettback cholo idiots that propigate this chrap were alive back then?

Astlan and Mencha (however they are spelled) and all those goofy mexican groups are rediculous. They all just want a piece of the US because most of mexico has become unlivable, due to the presence of MEXICANS.

There are some decent ones of the Spanish decent, but the average indian-mexi is nothing more than a low-class breeder. I challange anyone to prove me wrong on that.

They are like rats. You might see a few of them in the field and think, 'Well, that's no big deal", but if you don't do something about it, all of a sudden you end up overrun, and when the whole deal is ruined, they move on to the next place.

When the US is trashed, Canada is next.

Do you mean the land we bought from France, which would be most of the Southwest? Or did you mean Texas, land that had already broken from Mexico that we took as a state? Now if you want to give California back that would be fine with me. You can live with the ACLU, and the wonderful world of politically correct people. Are you then going to give back all the land you took from the Aztecs and go back to Spain?

As far as History knows,USA was at War with Mexico in 1848 and
as a result of that war Mexico ceeded certain lands to USA,and the whole affair was ratified by treaty which is valid like treaties all
over the world and it is not 'stealing' in terms of International Law as it was formulated at that time, otherwise we would probably have to reshape the entire world...with regard to lands legitimately
purchased, well, it takes two to make a sale, unless you suggest that USA has to return Alaska 'stolen' from Russia and Luisianna 'stolen' from Napoleon etc...

Nope, it is not legitimate. The United States Purchased the land from Mexico. Then they overpaid later for small tract of land in the Gadsden Purchase.

You know, most countries in the world would not have paid any money to Mexico for the land. They would have taken it straight outright, and nobody would have thought the worse of 'em.

Sounds like a great idea to me. People say it was paid for which is true in a way. The U.S. Threatened the mexican president at the time that if he did not sell the land to them for the spare change they offered they would keep fighting and eventually steal it. As ususal. So the president took the money and spared his peoples lives.

You see Mexico could be part of the U.S. but those in power in Mexico don't want to give up their power. And sure the Mexican army would win ,Mexico is a superpower nation right. I'm not being racist either its you who are being racist. We pay taxes on illegals medical, we pay higher car insurance because of you coming over here driving uninsured without drivers licences. that's just some of it. This country welcomes all, as long as they go about it in the correct fashion. So come on with your hate.

Mexico may want it, but it will not happen.

However, the current trend of settlement of Mexicans in the US is a good way of taking revenge.

This pizzeria chain in Texas is now accepting Mexican currency Pesos as a form of payment!

Anyway, the funny thing will happen when these same Mexicans oppose illegal immigration from Mexico once they become US citizens.

No. The Mexicans are the illegals now.

The president,Senator, and Congressmen that do nothing to protect our borders or restrict illegal migration and refuse to deport those already here are the illegals in my book.
