Supermarkets now sell these mop type gadgets that you attach floor wipes to like wet wipes a bit. You then remove the wipe and bin it. Much quicker and drys in seconds.

ITS CALLED A DUST MOP TAKE THE PAD COVER OFF SOAK IN A WET CLEANER PUT BACK ON AND SLIDE OVER FLOOR CLEANS WELL ON VINYL..

There is loads of good laminate floor cleaners you can buy, in most shops.

they are horrible, best thing is to avoid getting them dirty in the first place, i.e., take your shoes off when you enter the house.
Why not save up for a nice bit of carpet.
