My question is this:

Are the Democrats against Bush's Iraq plan just to disagree with him? Or do they feel an actual need to pull our troops from Iraq?

Are we doing more harm than good meddling in other countries' affairs?

First, other countries cross the lines with us and we had to go to war. How would it make us look it someone attacked us and we did nothing? that's right, like idiots.
Before it was mostly talk and some troops going over to help neutralize situations. But major lines have been crossed.
I'm more for a democratic president and I think Bush is a not so smart president (being nice there) however the one think I think he has done right is how he is handeling the war. Yes I am for bringing our troops home and YES, I do have a family member overseas but it needs to be done. We cannot back down. If we had backed down do you really think they (Iraq) would have gone on there merry way!? NO! hes making sure there will not be anymore attacks on the US or anywhere else. It is the best thing for all of us. All we can do is prey for our hero's safe return along with the end of the war when we catch Bin La din.

God bless them our hero's

We (the US) are a power house and with such power we have a responsibility to help maintain peace.
Lets say you see someone little getting beat up by a much bigger guy. If you had the power to stop him, wouldn't you?

I don't actually believe the Democrats are that childish, nor the Republicans. In actuality, to be childish and "hate" someone just because they are of a certain party is pretty lame. I believe the Democrats think they are taking the right stand. I just disagree with them. In the very beginning, President Bush had full political support to go to war with the evidence provided to him, and to the Congress. Regardless of where things stand now, it would not be right to take the steps the US has taken and then just withdraw before that country is able to stand them self.

As far as meddling in other countries affairs.... Just as with Hitler, the entire world sat still in silence for too long as millions of lives, not just Jews, were taken. That is a mistake we should never allow to happen again. Going to war in Iraq to remove that Saddam, a totally evil man, was the right thing to do.

I don't live in America - but I follow its politics because they tend to affect global outcomes. The Democrats want the troops back because after more than 3,000 deaths you start to get the feeling that maybe you're not winning. I'm sure they don't want this to be Vietnam revisited. Bush and his cronies didn't have a very good game plan to start with it seems because the casualties wouldn't be as they are. And yes, I do believe meddling in other country's affairs seems to be a particularly American thing - South America, Cuba, Korea, Vietnam, Europe and now the Middle East! America didn't win any of them and still hasn't learnt anything! But after more than 3,000 American casualties and more than 30,000 civilian deaths in Iraq you start to get the feeling that maybe America is in the wrong ball park and failing - going down, down, down - all the way to the elections whereby Bush will go down in history as the most detrimental president to American interests in history. Let's see if the neocons can pull him out of this one!

There are just as many Republicans as Democrats that think we should get out of Iraq.
It's time to let Iraq take care of Iraq.

You KNOW the answer to this question. Pure stupidity it seems. Of course the Democrats are not playing games with our country like the Republicans. The troops need to get out of there and come back home to their families. Bush needs to handle his own country.
