I would say very religious people are less afraid than the rest of us. But I do not believe that anyone is totally unafraid, the unknown is always frightening to some degree.
Three years ago my best friend who I have known since I was 12 and was never sick, complained of a sore leg, which turned out to be leukemia and while in the beginning there was hope (some people do get through this) as time went on there wasnt any hope for her. I would say her greatest fear was leaving her three young kids, your priorities change when you have children, I watched her go through every feeling (first hope and determination), (then fear and anger) and finally (strength and acceptance).
I have to say she handled the whole thing so well and spent her last weeks saying goodbye, she came over to my house and joked about things to ease the news.
I'm in a different position since she died, I 'm still afraid but less afraid strangely enough.
Death is part of life but it is the last part and it is best if we do not focus on that part too much because we should be enjoying where we are at right now. None of us know when it will happen so we should be doing the things that are important right now.

No never but only afraid of the pain which I might have to face . It is only for this reason I pray to god to take me away immediately without any pain. I suggest you to read Bhagavad Gita where you will find lots of answers pertaining to life and death.

Positivly scared to death i dont know if it'll be easy in my sleep or a long drawn out agnoizing experience. I suppose if i knew how i was going to die it would make it better cuz at least i know what to expect.

definite, i'm terrified of death yet i'm no longer terrified of death. i do no longer want to lie on my death mattress, tormented by a terminal ailment, in soreness for quite a few months earlier I die. i do no longer want to die like that. i ought to easily desire that once I die, it may die once I sleep. never experience something. never understand what have been given me.

Nobody can avoid death.
But death in ignorance is greatly fearful.
Death in the process of advancement to higher wisdom is natural.
Death in complete enlightenment is divine.

i'm afraid of dying violently, i'd honestly rather not feel the pain, the last-minute fear. but there are things in life that i fear more than the fact of death.
