It's a 54 Mbps Wireless Router WGR614 v4 and it's simply not working anymore. I have a desktop and laptop and they used to get connection from it. The power light is on and so is the wireless signal, both in amber. All my wears are set up correctly. My laptop is a mac and it says I have full connection to Netgear but then when I try to use it, it doesn't work and says I'm not connected to the internet. Do I need a new one? I'd rather not have to purchase another one, does anyone know what to do?

It was originally plugged into my desktop and I could get wireless internet from that to my laptop. Now it just doesn't work anymore. I've read the manuals and gone to the websites which when I go the page doesn't work.

Your wireless router is connected to a modem of some sort?
You may need to power cycle it. Power off the router and the modem at the same time. Turn on the modem and wait intil the lights settle down. Then power on the router.

If this isnt it, you may have to reconfigure the router, but you may want to ask another question then.
