The dimension of time makes it linear. Prices are numerics linked to a discrete moment of time. Time is a function of all of such analysis. Therefore it must be linear.

Potential Winners: Brewers: the loss of leadoff hitter Rickie Weeks hurt big time as the Crew suddenly got cold. However, after sweeping Cincinatti and lighting up the score board as always, the Brew Crew appear to be getting hot again. Their pitching rotation is nothing flashy, but is highly underrated. Their bullpen one of if not the best in the NL. This team has a lot of power in its lineup and with Trevor Hoffman as the closer, this team is dangerous. Cardinals: There are not a lot of big names on this team after the injuries. After Albert Pujols and Chris Carpenter, who is on this roster? The one thing that matters though, is the Cardinals are finding ways to win their games. It's a young team with an average rotation that keeps on winning. Cubs: This team is devastated with injuries and has had a slow start. They won it the past few seasons, but will need to get healthy and hot at the same time if they wish to win the division. Considering all the talent on this team, you cannot disclude the Cubs from contention. Astros: Ok, this may shock you. However, as most NL Central fans are aware, the Houston Astros are a 2nd Half team. When was the last time the Astros had a solid 1st Half season? If the Stros can go .500 by the All Star Break, this team may win the NL Central.
