Message to Lo: No, I don't remember the 60's; I was 15 months old when they ended. I HAVE seen the movie, however! Ever heard of AMC or TCM (cable stations)?

If you remember that song and that movie, you are old enough to know that the trees ARE listening to you, they just are not responding! Also, both the fore-mentioned are from the 60's, and you remember (or not) the 60's! Man, those were great times.

How do you know they are not listening? After all, maybe they are just considering what you had to say and they will respond later.

Yes, they do listen with great patience. "Trees are your friends". I also talk to the trees and have great reverence for them.
