I have thought long and hard about this one.Society looks down on women who somehow profit using their bodies, even if she is not sexually active.But on the other hand the ones who do chose to have sex often,and with several men are ok as long as they don't ask for anything in return.I personally don't see any difference between the average woman who sleeps around, due to personal issues,than i see in the prostitute or call girl ,so to speak. The first one just doesn't profit from it. So who's the lesser of two evils here.More women can probably answer this one.Just think about all the one -night stands that have happened maybe at one point or another during your lifetime,without a phone call the next day or a follow -up date! Let's have fun with this one!

I thought that it would be drugs or stds, but the common housewife can use drus and have stds, since they are tansmitted by sexual contact, not morals.Also education is not it either i have read where upper class women who are well educated do this as a proffesion and charge 500+ for a couple of hours

no it is not class either,or enjoyment.After a few drinks at a club the average guy is probably hot.and to the other little lady if you live long enough you will eat those words unless you are abstain from all sex

Well other than the money there is none.
Society is hypocritical. It's all the ACLU's fault, and the general media. You know like Sex and the City.
Back in the old Days they were pretty much the same, read the Scarlet letter. If anything we should have more respect for prostitutes because at least they are making a living off of it.

The only real difference is that the promiscuous girl has a great job and college degree, and the prostitute doesn't. They both charge for sex, they just charge differently.
Also, the the promiscuous girl actually profits MORE than the prostitute in the long run if she meets a rich guy to live with who will do anything and/or pay for anything for her, which she has a better chance at getting than the prostitute. Prostitues usually don't get taken on expensive trips to Islands or get incredible jewlery for their birthdays. And they get horrible std's more easily than the Promiscuous girl.

Well this is the way i look at it. If you are going to sleep around might as well get paid. Sleeping around for free isn't paying the bills. But no matter what are opinion is being a prostitute is illegal for a reason and being a whore isn't flattering. And no not all girls have one night stands. Some of us are to classy!

Well, to me, and my environment, promiscuous meant a bit sexy and flirty, and the actual intercourse being spontaneous and fun. And a Prostitute must go through many men a day, to make a living. And I don't think it's always fun for a prostitute. I dont know.. I don't really see promiscuous as having many one night stands w/o anything in return.

Prostitutes could have intercourse with certainly all and sundry for funds. Even disgusting fat bald adult males. And being with a dozen adult males (finished on your existence) isn't plenty relatively. Prostitutes can do this for the period of one week or much less.
