They are a terrorist group that kills animals.

Go to Penn and Tellers documentary on PETA. Unbelievable how many animals they killed just at their headquarters. Animal Survival Rate at PETA was only like 30%. so there is a 70% chance PETA would kill your pet.

I hate PETA.

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. They are the largest animal rights organization in the world.
Founded in 1980, PETA is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.

PETA...People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
They do a lot of good for animals, that's true. But put simply, they are a terrorist group. They've gone to KFCs and given children mock KFC buckets full of fake blood, chicken heads, and generally nasty stuff. They've gone to children's shows (like Barney Live kind of stuff) and given out gruesome comic books with an evil woman slaughtering bunnies on the cover with big bold letters saying "YOUR MOMMY IS A MURDERER". If your thinking about joining an animal rights group, don't go with this one. Your better off giving your time at a Human Society or similar group and actually helping the animals who need it than putting thousands, possibly more, into cheap tricks to scare kids, assault people, and generally be a bad guy. There are people involved with PETA who are generally nice animal lovers, but the group as a whole..bad guys.

PETA stands for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals", but to those who see through them "People Exterminating Thousands of Animals", "People Excusing Terrorist Atrocities"...among others. Here are a few quotes, to help you understand why they're no good...for the animals they claim to protect and us animal lovers.

“Our nonviolent tactics are not as effective. We ask nicely for years and get nothing. Someone makes a threat, and it works.”
— Ingrid Newkirk (PETA Co-Founder and President), in the April 8, 2002 issue of US News & World Report , 4/8/02

“We do not advocate ‘right to life’ for animals,” Newkirk handwrote on a post card to neuter/return and no-kill sheltering proponent Nathan Winograd, who then directed the Law & Advocacy Department for the San Francisco SPCA and now does shelter consulting from San Diego.

"We are not especially 'interested in' animals. Neither of us had ever been inordinately fond of dogs, cats, or horses in the way that many people are. We didn't 'love' animals." - Peter Singer, acknowledged founder of the animal rights movement.

There's animal rights and animal welfare...a big difference. (Although, some animal rights activist are 'infiltrating' welfare organizations.)

its "people for ethical treatment of animals" and it rocks.i was hard core non-vegetarian but watching a video on Petadishoom.com moved me so much that i gave up non-veg and so did 7 of my friends and now i run a organisation for animals.
and those who say that peta is against KFC ask them to first learn about the stupid meat selling companies tactics and the fact that it kills about 8.4 million chickens and also how they treat the poor animals and i personally have collected signatures against KFC and am proud of doing so.
