How do you define success / happiness ?

Success is the achievement of a goal or aim. For instance, if your goal was to have a career that makes good money, if you have that you are successful. Happiness, however, is in my opinion a feeling of general well-being. One can be successful and unhappy as well as happy but unsuccessful.

Success is an activity which one could analyse / see whereas happiness on the other hand is in the mind and this has nothing to do with either success or failure because there are person who may be considered useless , waster, idling , but still he is a happy man who does not require anything no house, no wife , no shelter but still he is happy. If you sum up all these we would know that happy is only in the mind and not materilistic. Read Bhagavad Gita to fully understand and be happy whole thro your life.

let's begin with worldly terms, not being a civil servant, being something like a famous musican or movie star, celebratie, or scientist, with wealth and acclaim from family and friends, all not bad, happiness, every relationship turns your way, love and marriage successful, how do you know about marriage, sixty years and live it, who knows, being together, to some is prison,
happiness that you live another day, in an enviroment that is not oppressing and depressing, an enviroment where people are your buddies and friends, not your enemies, where you have more money and time than them, just incase,
success, to have all your dreams come true, and not step on anyone's toes to do it, not to have to prevent someone from achieving their goals, which is so common a thing to do, civil seravants do this, people who do not want you to sit straight or walk directly, what do you think, people who steal your privacy and windsheild wipers because they are not happy, because you have something better, and listen to and hear something and someone better than them, happiness is to be out of them, (or so the thought goes) but the truth is, happiness is not a prerequisite for living, living is something we must do, and there are people who do want to make us unhappy, when we are rightously happy, success is to overcome them, even when you are thrown into the street, as they are trying to do to me now, i hate to live in nyc, it is a place of such unhappiness, and i hate to live near the irish and chinese, they are such spiteful people who would not allow people the time of day,so i would define success as being away from people who want to make you a mental patient and watch you because you would make more money than them, and they do not like your lipstick

Success is when you reach your goals and earn your good fortune and begin to prosper in life. And happiness is when all that good fortune comes together and you find someone to share all your possessions with and everything is well suited for the both of you.
