Don't let ANYONE tell you who to like, and who not to like.
In this case, you might even try to act as peacemaker between the two guys. That way your bf knows ehy you keep talking to him.

if you have a very good friendship with this guy like you said you consider each other as bro and sis then why care so much for this boyfriend of yours unless your relationship with him is very serious? if not the don't dump the boyfriend and keep that good friendship you've got ;) nothing better then having a very good best friend ;)

Not sure if I can understand your whole situation clearly, but I do understand the last part of it...
if you're mature enough, I think you should be able make up your own decisions and not let anybody else influence or make it for you (unless its for a good cause). To avoid conflict maybe just don't hang with them at the same time.

No. He's your friend. It's not like your brother and you are never going to speak to each other ever again because you're friends with the guy he doesn't like.
That's the kind of situation where your brother has his own friends and you have your own and they don't necessarily have to like each other.

no, and if your b/f would break up with you if you dont stop being his friend then he's not a very good b/f, only reason why you should stop being somones friend is if they do somthing really bad to you

your boyfriend should able to accept you for what you are and for your choices...he should not make them for you nor should you make choices according to his likes and dislikes.. try talking to him about this problem...if he really loves you he will definately adjust...if you ve got on that doesnt adjust to your life.. then ask him whether he deserves to be your boyfriend...good luck..
