personal preference. i use both. contacts during the day or when i'm going out and then i switch to my glasses. its actually best to have both. but if you have a low prescription, contacts would probably be best... then you wouldn't have to get use to the wear and fashion of glasses. but you also have to ask yourself if you're able to be confortable with putting something in your eye. i was a little squimish at first, but once i got them in, i couldn't feel them. they're really comfortable. you just have to remember to put drops in your eyes when they start to feel dry. i find that to be the only downside to them.

They're both great. I'd choose the glasses primarily because contacts WILL make your eyes worse as time goes by. Glasses does this too if you wear them too much, but contacts are constantly in your eyes so that puts more stress on them. Contacts are more difficult to clean and maintain.

If you go for the glasses, there are a lot of really nice frames available nowadays. I like choosing plastic frames. If you can find a really nice pair to suit your face and everyday life, it can really bring out your personality with one look. =)

I think both are great...but the thing is that i just feel that glass hide your face....and it just gets tiring wearing them all day long. I started wearing glass back was about 13 and i could never hold on to them i would lose them or break-em soo contacts were more practical. But it is still nice to change your look ever so often with a great pair of glass so i still put on glass when i wanna change or im just to lazy to bother with contacts.
Honestly its just all about what you feel comfortable in simple as that.

I have had glasses since I was 2 years old, I tried contacts, but It is kind of a pain in the butt... If you fall asleep with them in , it hurts really really bad, I've had one contact decide it would bugga off up my eye and behind when I was driving with the roof off (that sucked hard) , However, contacts are pretty sweet if you want to wear sunglasses and don't want to buy prescription ones... Glasses all the way (more expensive but worth it)

Oh ya, and if you need bifocals , I would advise not geting diverging lenses... those suck harsh, it is like looking through a fish bowl :S

i would say both actually..
glasses are easy to maintain and alot more convenient to remove in case you have sore eyes after long usage of glasses..
contacts however gives more flexibility for you to move around without the constant disturbance of having your glasses slip down your nose.(especially when you perspire around the temple of your head and that gives you a very sticky feeling.)
but contacts are difficult to maintain and can sore the eyes within hours in a cold environment.
so, i use contacts during the day and glasses while at home watching the telly.
it's up to you which you would prefer actually.

Well glasses are better for you since they don't try out or irritate (unless there too small and tight) but I prefer contacts. It's mostly a personal preference and how it looks on you, but another thing is sunglasses cause if you have glasses you'll have to spend alot for sunglasses with your prescription or you'll have to wear ugly clip ons while contacts you just put them on. You should ask your friends which one looks better on you.

I prefer glasses. there are soo many styles out there that are sleek anf great for all types of the environmet your in.

I feel glasses give an attitude and flare, and u can go to some eyeplace where u get 2 pairs for a great deal.

I wear them because of just that and I have a habbit of rubbing my eyes, and dont have to spend extra money on solution, or worry with them falling out.

I use both. I think they both have pro's and con's. So in my case by using both I dont get tired of the same thing. For example, for work, driving, regular weekdays I use my glasses (nice design glasses makes it easier for you to like them and enjoy wearing them). And for the weekend, parties, or weekdays if I go out to dinner I change to contacts. I have tried using glasses only and I get bored and I have tried using contacts only and my eyes get irritated so thats my advice, a little bit of both.

I wear spectacles. The notion of putting something into my eyes does not appeal. And bifocal contacts are a bit problematic.

Contacts. I know I will look horrible in glasses, so if i wear contacts, i look like my normal self.
