Who is Tri-Edge in .Hack//GU?

Question

I've searched on the internet and some said it was Kite, some Shino and some Oven. Give a strait answer please.

Tri-edge is actually Ovan. And it was him who PK'd Haseo, the kite character just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Go to http://www.dothackers.net for more information.

the character who is mistaken for tri edge is actually azure flame kite, later on in the series ovan removes the lock on his left arm, revealing that he is the true tri edge.
