dear lovely Egyptian girl!thanks for your answer in the Egyptian corner!!i call it like this because i found true Egyptian friends!!i hope you r one of them !!answering your question: i used to use my heart more than my mind many years ago!!but i really got shocked cause most of my decisions were based on dreams!!so when i woke up i found everything gone!!that's because i only used my heart!!and when i depend completely on my mind, i loose friends cause i appear so stiff, sometimes when you use your mind you have to be selfish, because all you need is to achieve your goals!!not considering others needs!!thats too selfish, you will acheive your goals but you will live alone!!so i discovered that 50% mind 50% heart is the best option!!here you can acheive your goals putting others feelings in your mind!!!that's fair!!all my love & best wishes!!

Most decisions are made according to neither heart nor mind. They are made according to impulse. Most things we do are not because of a conscious decision, but rather because of these impulses.
These impulses are the result of habits which are formulated mostly due to observing others and assimilating to the status quo, that is, societal norms.
It is important to distinguish between the heart and the head. People only recognize a difference if the two differ. If your heart agrees with your head, you do not even recognize that there is a choice that needs to be made. We justify going against our "better judgement," every time we say "i listened to my heart," but the truth is we are just breaking away from everything we have learned to be correct because something doesn't feel right. Interestingly enough, someone who "goes with their heart," is often considered to be taking a risk.
Most people would agree with the statement, "Life without risks is not really living." But then again, since most people agree with that, isn't that using your mind?
Your choice either way, if they really are different.

For me it is my heart. I try to go with my mind but my heart seems to override my mind. An example is when I graduated college, I was given a choice in my life. First choice was to work at Johns Hopkins
doing my dream job of psych research and going to grad school. The other choice was to move to Hawaii and be with a woman I met on the net and fell in love with. I went with my heart and moved to Hawaii. Now I have a wonderful wife, 2 exceptional children and live a life that love,

I think that women tend to think more with their hearts sometimes.. I think it has to be a healthy balance. If you think just with your mind, you can come off like Donald Trump... cruel and heartless and with no compassion. If you think entirely with your heart, you can be wishy washy and easily walked on. There are times when compassion is a necessary evil, when workers (if you are in management, etc) really do need a level of understanding. (ie. can't come to work because their child is really ill) And there are times when you have to think with your mind as well. (John misses a lot of work and constantly faults a sick child, maybe I need to find a replacement so that production doesn't fall) So in answer to your question I think it's best to think with your heart, but analyze the situation with your mind before making a final decision !!

before used to be 50% mind and now 50% heart.
now
99% heart 1%mind
the heart is bigger than the mind
without heart there's no vested interest
no matter how indifferent, odd, or strange the choice is, as long as not one is hurt, our heart can do no wrong
"love will find the way"
