I have ben reading all the controversy regarding the designers new show and it sound like classic water cooler TV. Apparently they wentto live on a rough housing estate to see if they could make it any better. From what Ive read they had hard time battling councils etc for more money to improve the place but their requests fell on stony ground. Sounds a bit like Jamies School Inners for houses.

it's Arden a housing estate on the south side of glasgow. Unfortunately it is typical of a lot of housing estates all over the UK. It has a lot of good people in it but the usual ones (You know the ones who complain that there is nothing to do where they live) they ruin it for everyone else. it must have been a struggle but I have seen the result and they certainly have made a difference. Let's hope the people of Arden look after it.
