My computer is on 24/7 and in my room and I have no complaints.

All electronic and electric appliances are harmfull to an extent, due to magnetic fields and radiation. It is not recommended any more to sleep in a full of electronic appliances room, mainly children should not.

I don't think so... Maybe if they are on it for 24/7 but Otherwise... Nothing should go wrong...
