Does anyone out there remember Pseudo Echo? I used to have their tape and loved that band! Now they're hard to find. They had alot of tracks on the movie North Shore too. Love the movie too. lol

Pseudo Echo were an Australian band, and their cover of the Lipps Inc song "Funky Town" was the last in a string of hits the band had in Australia in the mid-80's. Last year they re-formed for the "Countdown Spectacular" Australian tour (Countdown was a popular TV music show here in the 70's and 80's), the show featured many Australian bands of the era. Lead singer/songwriter Brian Canham now produces other acts, and runs a recording studio, but every now and then he tours as Pseudo Echo (with some of the original Pseudos).

Yes, I remember them. their song "His Eyes" appeared on the Friday the Thirteenth part 5 soundtrack, I believe.
